Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian, and activist. After emigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and since 2020 - has made her famous. Apart from commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is was a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and her fled antisemitism when she was two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out in her second year. She then obtained the GED and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
